Good to hear there is memorabilia. We couldn't find any the last time we were there, a couple years ago. I have seen the mother of all memorabilias: the CD collection of every piece of music that ever appeared in the park. That's a must-find.

Bostrom,
Abe is on leave. Great Moments has been replaced (temporarlily they say) by The walt Disney story for the Disneyland 50th.
No there is no robot Walt, just a 20 minute or so film, but in the lobby they have assembled the most outstanding collection of Disneyland memorabalia I have ever seen.
Tom

I thuoght everyone saw the Lincoln animatronic when they went to Disneyland. To be truthful it is a bit creepy, while still a technical marvel(the thing has to be 40 years old).
It was the later 80's when I went,my Aunt and I saw Bo Diddley at the bandstand, wow, that was some show.He was playing with the best pickup band I ever saw him play with(artists like Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry almost never toured with a band),an all Mexican house band ,they really dug into that Diddley beat.To top that line up off he had two of his daughters come up for a set,one on drums and the other on keys,it was off the hook people. They played another show but we missed it on account of we went to see that stupid Captain Eo.

I picked up on the cross cultural nudity in National Geographic, but never dwelled on it,it always seemed to be just a bit of a teaze.National Geographic is a great publication, who hasn't spent hours reading through volumes, checking out old advertisements and reading about "new" discoveries and technology, good times.
