I remember the Atomic Bomb Club. Saw you guys play once in Jack’s backyard – for his birthday, I think. It echoed throughout Mummy Mountain, at least until Jack’s mom made him turn it down. There is still a box of tapes somewhere around here…

A band doesn’t start when it chooses a name. It starts when
it’s members first play together,regardless of who else was
playing with them.This is an issue because of names that are
passed on to ever-changing members until there’s only one of
the originals left…that shouldn’t be a legal issue.If you
were in a band and everyone quit but you, you wouldn’t be in
a band.That’s all.So I have no idea when you became the Meat
Puppets Band,therefore I was just a natal music-fan chart, and that means listen,not in the background without me knowing it was you.Exactly true.

You don’t know how lucky. For every recording I saved, Jack erased five! Every time I turned around, it seems, he’d recorded over the only copy of what I considered a great performance.

You guys were smart, saving all of your old cassette tapes. The 2 Degrees reigned supreme throughout The OC during the summer of 1980, but we archived exactly 0 recorded artifacts. Such is wasted youth….
