Like so many people, I have grown up with Jack Davis, and yet the art from this book remains among my favorites. I can only imagine how awesome the originals must be!</description>

		<description>I was happy to stumble on this site after doing a general search on Jack Davis. Last year, I purchased one of the original drawings that Jack did for this book on Ebay. Now I have more information about the publication and when the art was done. Over the years, I have had the pleasure to work with jack on some packaging projects that required his humorous style to help sell an unknown product. He&#039;s the first to work within your budget, bring a different approach to how the art might look better to solve the problem and just fun to work with. There is not a better person in the industry that I know of and I was upset when he moved out of the neighborhood. I miss our accidental meetings at Thompson Art Supply store.</description>

		<description>Thanks for the jack Davis Lincoln art! I had no idea he did historic illustrations...I grew up reading Mad and have loved his work since I was a kid.I think he did the original poster art for the Bad News Bears movie back in the 70&#039;s. 
My wife claims to be a descendent of Abraham Enloe, who some say is Lincoln&#039;s illegitimate father. I don&#039;t know too much about that though....also, concerning Lincoln, I think it&#039;s interesting that he&#039;s so often portrayed as a country bumpkin lawyer, when he was actually a very astute businessman who would have easily made a fortune in law if he did not move onto bigger and better things...</description>
