Hey, I bought one of these, when I was still in high school! And I sent you an email, and you responded in a friendly fashion, calling me "wise beyond [my] years"...if only that were true today, ha!

It's a solid EP, I am glad others get the chance to hear it!

Great stuff. Reminded of some 40 years ago, sitting on the floor in a barely furnished room, listening and singing along to the various guitars that had been brought. A really great atmosphere, and really glad to be able to re-visit that place in my mind

Thanks for this! I bought a few of these EP's back then intending to give them as gifts but kept them for myself. So there they sit in my collection between The The and Tomita. The demos are great!

Coolness! Your “Pac-Man Fever” is infinitly preferable to the terrible orig. that Dr Demento used to always play. And I swear Outkast ripped off your version of "Still Going Steady" for "Hey Ya."

The people demand more Today's Sounds!

Derrick, this is awesome—thanks! When I was twelve, one of my friends actually had that Buckner & Garcia album (never heard of them before or after). I tried to get into it, but I think I was more interested in jammin' on my Atari 2600.

The demos are great, and I think Ian was onto something: the music's vaguely reminiscent of Velvet Underground. Minus heroin, with added goofiness. I think Jennifer Thompkins may be my favorite. Also, the cover is priceless!

Thanks again.

Unless I compressed it too much, the back included back cover should have the full credits. The only name I remember is Bruce Sandig, who supplied the bass, the lead guitar and the keyboards.

Thanks so much for posting this! I like "Pac-Man Fever;" it almost sounds like Lou Reed sang it! Glad to see that you'll be having plenty more "Nirvana money" with the release of the DVD. By the way, were you the only musician involved in this recording, or did anybody else contribute?
