Perhaps because I live near where the Spilotros sewed their violent oats in the Chicago burbs before heading west....I don't know? Vegas from that era is the modern mythological west. Gone, but was it what we think it was? Old tired hookers and sunburned gamblers...sheesh, I better read a menu to ground myself. I get lost in that classic Las Vegas site.
