Thanks Adam!

It's strange to wax so wistful every time I find another place from my childhood has fallen by the wayside. I guess it's just a function of age.

very cool you are documenting this stuff before it goes.. so much has gone here in LA and the San Fernando Valley since the '70s. some of the great old bldgs downtown (theatres and such) are finally getting refurbished.. but so many bldgs from the 60's and 70's arent looked at as worth it or the land is more valuable.. and that whole era is going away. banks, small office bldgs, movie theatres, shopping centers etc. was in Tokyo last year and found it so cool to see so many post war bldgs in immaculate shape alongside all the cool new modern ones.. in any case, I always enjoy your site.. -Adam
