Hi -- thanks for the link; my next door neighbor's mom lives up in Crown King & was staying with her here in Prescott. She told me that the fire started about 50 yards from her place...she's one of the last to be allowed back. Apparently, the power lines won't go up until an archeological impact statement is delivered!!! She's prepared, however, has a generator.

I bought cds,ate bean and cheese burrittos(on whole wheat tortillas)every other day for a month, and veggie burgers from burger king on alternate days. That pretty much used it up....except sometimes I got fruit smoothies and oatmeal cookies. I had fun ignoring starvation before staring it down again.
