She told me that the fire started about 50 yards from her place...she's one of the last to be allowed back. Apparently, the power lines won't go up until an archeological impact statement is delivered!!! She's prepared, however, has a generator. That pretty much used it up....except sometimes I got fruit smoothies and oatmeal cookies. I had fun ignoring starvation before staring it down again.
