“Sweet Caroline” is from Donnie’s album “So Good So Good So Good,” and goes on longer than I have included here. I edited out some of the chatter that was of a “racially insensitive” nature…

If the rest of the show has as much surreal dialog it could be one for the ages.

Terry Now, Thanks so much for the kind words about me and Chaino and for the mention of Chaino’s CD’s. It’s always good to hear coments on Chaino’s awesome talent. Chaz –

I’m almost certain the problem is that my host’s server is timing out. Either that, or yours is (what with more and more ISPs throttling their users’s speeds, this is more and more of an issue). My feed probably can’t handle too many people hitting on it at once. The podcast is on the same host as my main site, and as it gets more popular, so increases the growing pains.

I’ve had this happen to some of the more popular podcasts I subscribe to. I usually just try again. What I’m going to probably have to do is add a download link in addition to the feed. Hopefully, I’ll find the time to to this in the next couple weeks.

Hi Derrick,

Love your blog, especially “your favorite little podcast”.

I subscribed, but it seems many of the broadcast just drop off mid way through.

Are the full broadcast of each episode available, or am i doing something wrong? I even tried downloading them rather than pulling them from iTunes and they stop in the same place.

Anyway, they are free, and great – so if what i am requesting is trouble no worries… I should be happy with what i get and be thankful.

Great work. Thanks for keeping us entertained!

Well its the unfortunate truth of our age that for lovers of our type of music, it is truly the best and worst of times, depending on who you happen to be around.

But take heart, Derrick, in my house (well, apartment) your name is mentioned weekly, if not daily, as your reports from the country have become musical staples since I searched out Connie Eaton’s Don’t Hang No Halos on Me after hearing it on Luxuria a couple of months ago.

I donated a c-note during the last fund raiser, although a paypal screw up kept from registering during your show, and I’m ordering Joe E from Eabla. My hope is advertisers will eventually value us enough to get Luxuria off the pyramid advertisers list.

So rickroll the nay-sayers to the latest Jonas brothers and keep the good tunes flowing.

Two requests: More reports from the country, or at least more tunes from the greats such as Nat Stuckey and Connie Eaton. And I know it would be more work, but would be possible to break up the tunes into individual mp3s on your podcasts?
