My scanner is reasonably new, an inexpensive Canon. It comes with a slide attachment and the software to recognize it. Without the slide attachment, I don't think you can scan slides at all.

Even still, I had to apply large amounts of trial and error to the process, and lots of post-processing in an image editor.

Hi,
I came across your blog from a link to your filmstrip of the bike ed cartoons.
You appear to have issues :-)

We have a special beer in Australia which can help and I would be happy to share some with you when you are next here. It's our therapy for when we can't see the keyboard to blog.

I will get to the rest of your interesting looking blog as soon as I can, but what I really wanted to know was what did you scan the filmstrip with? (Not the sounds - I know how to do that.) I only have a very old HP scanner and it does a rubbish job and it takes ages. I know this is not on the topic and do apologize. I am hoping you won't mind this contact - I couldn't find an email link and know you haven't answered your telephone for decades...

Love and peace

Thanks to this post I "believed" this weekend and got through 2 months worth of financial organizing, checkbooks and receipts with my wife. It really wasn't fun, but after the first 10 minutes it gets a little more tolerable. Not to mention the freedom you feel afterwards, which set the mood for a great martini happy hour. I suppose the sweet ain't so sweet without the sour...or is it?
