I too am glad to know what Grandpa Thomson did for a living. I loved hearing stories about John and Lorene from my Grandma Strong. She was best friends with Lorene--- even before she met John. Most certainly he passed many of these traits to his son. There is still no TOM-foolery at the dinner table. Thanks for sharing and for your dillengence in putting this together!
